We are currently coordinating the following projects:
Veterans Hospital Donation List - items are needed by December 10th. You can bring items to the next meeting or contact Chuck and he will pick-up.
Christmas for Camden Kids - We had a special check presentation to Christmas for Camden Kids for $2,000. The main shopping day is Tuesday, December 11th at 6 pm at Walmart. Sunday December 9th at 2:30 pm, we will be moving shelving from current storage facility to the Kings Bay Shopping Center. We need pick ups, trailers, and helpers to move and set it up! Please call Allen Rassi at 552-1764 if you wish to help!
The new 10 X 14 storage shed for the Methodist Home for Youth here in St. Marys is complete. Check out the photos.
December 10th is the final date for collecting soccer balls and clothes for children in Iraq. Contact Cheryl Aston for more information.
The Salvation Army has asked us to help with Bell Ringing. Our dates are Friday, December 14th and Saturday, December 22nd. Contact Allen Rassi if you can volunteer.
The annual Christmas Party will be Monday, December 17th starting at 6:00 pm Jolene Haney’s house. Please contact Jolene if you are planning to attend and if you have a favorite dessert you wish to make.
Habitat for Humanity is selling special stuffed animals that feature the Georgia Bull Dog Fight Song and the Florida Gator as well as other cute stuffed animals for $5.00 each. Contact Christi Gallagher.
The St. Marys Live Nativity will be Tuesday, December 18th at Orange Hall starting at 6 pm. You can contact Alyce Thornhill for more information
Next Weeks Program will be recognizing Camden Middle School for their outstanding Thanksgiving Food Drive Participation in which they have given over 10,000 lbs of food to assist the needy in Camden County. We will have the Golden Steppers from the St. Marys Senior Center leading us in music and dancing and a special Christmas Reading from Pastor Rick.
Finally, How about the Camden County Wildcats Football Team going to the Georgia Dome this Saturday, December 8th starting at 9 pm for the Semi State Championship game against the Lowndes County Vikings. The game will be on Georgia Public Television Station or on KBAY 106.5. Go! Cats! Go!
